Work's been slow so I took inspiration from others who were doing so and decided to try my hand at commissioning plushies. This particular doll is going to turn out to be one of my main otaku senshi, Sailor Christmas.

I'm using Supple Suede for the hair and skin. The shoes are made from something...not sure what kind of material it is other than Metallic and Christmas Green in color. I've also made a pair of removable gloves (not pictured) and will begin on the main fuku and face (which I'll be putting on via fabric paint) soon.

It's all a part of the learning process. One of these days perhaps you'll get the legs to your liking. At least you're doing your own pattern. I couldn't do that at the time being.

making your own pattern is easy.... but you have to have made dolls and teddy bears before.... you'll get the hang of it... i'm great with the body and head but soooo bad at making the arms and leg proportional.......... but i figure a way to hid that on my one :)
